HCMC, 5 February 2026 – Savills Vietnam has successfully acted as the exclusive advisor to UNIVACCO Technology Inc. to lease 29,742.4 sq m of industrial land at Long Thanh Industrial Zone (IZ), Dong Nai Province, marking the company’s official entrance as a strategic manufacturing base in Viet Nam, Southeast Asia.
Headquartered in Tainan and established in 1990, UNIVACCO Technology Inc. is a global technology company specialising in vacuum metallised films and coating technologies for the printing, packaging and advanced materials industries. Its core products, including hot stamping foil, cold foil and functional vacuum-coated films, are widely distributed across key markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
This investment reflects a selective shift among high-tech manufacturers, as Viet Nam increasingly becomes a top choice for its stable manufacturing platform, cost competitiveness and deep integration into global supply chains.
UNIVACCO’s new facility will be developed in line with global manufacturing standards, incorporating advanced production technologies, optimised logistics and enhanced responsiveness to market demand, particularly in premium packaging, digital applications and environmentally friendly material solutions.
Bruce Lee, CEO of UNIVACCO Technology Inc., comments, “UNIVACCO has chosen Viet Nam as its overseas manufacturing base, leveraging the country’s advantages in international tariff policies as well as its strong cost competitiveness.”
According to Savills Vietnam, in 2025, Dong Nai Province attracted over US$2.7 billion in FDI, exceeding 144% of its annual target, with more than 2,200 active FDI projects and total registered capital surpassing US$42 billion. Looking ahead to 2026, the province is expected to capture a new wave of investment in high-tech manufacturing, logistics and financial services, driven by major infrastructure developments such as Long Thanh International Airport and Phuoc An Port, alongside ongoing administrative reforms and digital transformation.
Phan Cuu Chi, Manager of Industrial Services, Savills HCMC, says, “High-tech FDI arriving in Viet Nam is shifting from opportunistic investment to long-term strategy. Investors like UNIVACCO are not simply seeking production locations; they are selecting the country as an integrated platform for long-term manufacturing and innovation.”
Developed by Sonadezi Long Thanh, Long Thanh IP spans 488 ha and features well-developed infrastructure, an internal road network and integrated utilities, including power, water and wastewater treatment systems, to support advanced manufacturing operations.
The representative from Sonadezi Long Thanh states, “We are pleased to welcome UNIVACCO to Long Thanh IP. This project reflects our long-term strategy to attract high-quality, technology-oriented manufacturers that bring lasting value to the industrial ecosystem. We believe UNIVACCO’s investment will contribute positively to the development of advanced manufacturing in Dong Nai.”
Savills Vietnam acted as exclusive advisor, providing end-to-end support throughout the process, including site selection, market advisory, negotiation and transaction closing. Leveraging deep local market knowledge and extensive experience advising international investors, Savills worked closely with UNIVACCO Technology Inc. and Sonadezi Long Thanh to successfully support the project’s implementation.
